Yavapai County Woman Arrested for DUI and Meth Possession

CAMP VERDE, Arizona — On April 7, 2025, at approximately 1:30 a.m., a Yavapai County deputy patrolling the area of State Route 260 and Goswick Way observed a vehicle driving the wrong way, facing eastbound in the westbound lanes. The driver, identified as Kiara Manuelito, was stopped by the deputy. While speaking with her, the deputy detected a strong odor of intoxicating liquor coming from Kiara, indicating possible impairment.

After further investigation, the deputy determined that Kiara was operating her vehicle under the influence of alcohol. She was arrested and transported to the Yavapai County Detention Center for processing. During a search conducted by detention personnel, methamphetamine was found concealed in Kiara’s undergarments, adding to the severity of her charges.

Kiara Manuelito was booked on multiple counts related to the incident. She faces charges of DUI to the slightest degree, DUI with a blood alcohol content (BAC) of 0.08 or more, DUI with a BAC of 0.15 but less than 0.20, and DUI with a BAC of 0.20 or more. Additionally, she was charged with possession of dangerous drugs for the methamphetamine and taking contraband into a correctional facility. The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office is continuing its investigation into the incident, emphasizing the dangers of impaired driving and drug possession in the community.
