Jessica Holtzinger, 13, missing again in Phoenix, Arizona; officials fear trafficking risk

PHOENIX, ARIZONA Authorities are searching for 13-year-old Jessica Holtzinger, who went missing again on July 25, 2024, just one day after being recovered from a vulnerable situation. Officials warn that she is at extreme risk for trafficking, making her immediate recovery a priority.

Holtzinger was last seen around 5:00 p.m. near 27th Street and Roosevelt in Phoenix, Arizona. She was wearing white Adidas shorts, a pale blue shirt, and black-and-white Nike shoes with red laces. She is described as 5 feet, 3 inches tall, weighing 95 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. She also has a scar on her forehead.

A previous disappearance and recovery

Holtzinger was first reported missing on June 18, 2024, from the same area in Phoenix, shortly after midnight. Authorities located and recovered her on July 24, 2024, nearly five weeks later, but she disappeared again the following evening.

Authorities believe she may be in the areas of 27th Avenue to 30th Avenue and Roosevelt or other nearby locations. Given the circumstances of her previous disappearance, law enforcement agencies and advocacy groups fear she may be in serious danger.

Call for public assistance

Officials urge anyone with information about Holtzinger’s whereabouts to come forward immediately. If seen, call 911 or contact local law enforcement.

This is a developing story. Updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
