PHOENIX, Arizona — The Phoenix Police Department is relieved to announce that 74-year-old Eulalia Mary Valenzuela, a Hispanic woman reported missing since April 30, 2025, has been located and is safe as of May 4, 2025. The community’s efforts to spread the word played a key role after she was last seen around 8:00 p.m. near North 32nd Street and East Roosevelt Street, sparking a widespread search due to her medical condition that can cause confusion or disorientation.
Eulalia was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and denim Levi shorts, driving a dark blue 2017 Toyota Camry with Arizona plate CFF6584. She is 5 feet 3 inches tall, weighs 150 pounds, and has brown eyes and brown hair. Her disappearance raised immediate concerns, as she left without her medication, a detail that heightened the urgency in a busy urban area near downtown Phoenix. The successful outcome reflects the power of community vigilance, though the initial lack of sightings near such a populated intersection—despite its proximity to Roosevelt Community Park—suggests possible gaps in early surveillance or public reporting, which could have delayed the search.
The Phoenix Police Department thanks everyone who assisted and urges continued cooperation in future cases. For any further information or to report similar incidents, contact them at 602-262-6151 or dial 911.
The Phoenix community celebrates this happy ending. Let’s keep supporting each other to ensure safety for all.
