Prescott driver flees after fence crash

PRESCOTT, ArizonaAuthorities in Yavapai County are seeking a driver who crashed a dark-colored compact SUV through a metal fence near Prescott Country Club on Friday, March 7, 2025, around 7 a.m., according to a statement from the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office posted 30 minutes ago on March 20, 2025, at 9:13 a.m. PDT. The Prescott driver fled after damaging property off E. Turquoise Circle.

Security footage captured the vehicle smashing through two sides of the fence, causing an estimated $3,000 in damage. The suspect exited the SUV, appeared to inspect the scene, and then drove off. No description of the Prescott driver was provided beyond their use of a dark compact SUV, and the reason for the crash remains unclear. The Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office is asking for public assistance to identify the individual.
