VALLE VISTA, Arizona — Mohave County Sheriff’s Office deputies are asking for help to track down the driver of an early 2000s Toyota Tacoma or 4Runner that plowed into the Dollar General at 7200 Concho Drive on March 24, 2025. It went down at 4:29 p.m.—the truck smashed right through the store’s front entrance, glass and all, then sped off before anyone could stop it.
Two people were in the vehicle: an older white man with a light-colored beard behind the wheel and a woman with light hair riding shotgun. The truck’s decked out with a winch and aftermarket lights on the front bumper, and deputies figure it’s got some front-end damage after that hit. They’re calling it criminal damage, tagged as DR# 25-010484, but they don’t know yet if it was a mistake or meant to happen.
The Dollar General sits in Valle Vista, a quiet community off Highway 66, about 20 miles north of Kingman. It’s the kind of place where folks stop for basics, not where you’d expect a truck to barrel through the door. Deputies got there quick, found the mess—shattered windows, busted displays—and started asking around, but no one’s ID’d the pair yet. That stretch of Concho Drive’s got homes and a few shops, so they’re hoping someone saw the truck peel out or knows who drives it.
Sheriff’s Office wants tips—call 928-753-0753 if you’ve got anything, big or small. They’re piecing it together, and a banged-up Toyota with those lights might stand out somewhere.
