Sex Offender Caught with Child Abuse Pics Faces 35 Years

CLAREMORE, Oklahoma — Thomas Doyle Jr., a 43-year-old high-risk sex offender, is now locked away for 35 years after a jaw-dropping guilty plea in Rogers County on April 17, 2025. Police found child sexual abuse pictures on his phone, and during his trial, Doyle stunned everyone by admitting guilt after just a few witnesses spoke. His quick plea kept jurors from seeing what cops called “really awful” videos—too upsetting to show in court. Doyle’s new 20-year sentence for the pictures piles onto a 15-year term from a 2017 case where he hurt a child. He’ll need to serve about 30 years before he can even think about parole.

The trouble started in 2023 when a group that protects kids, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, tipped off the Rogers County Sheriff’s Office about bad pictures shared on Instagram. They followed the trail right to Doyle, who was out on parole and supposed to sign up as a sex offender for life. He’d already gotten in hot water for skipping that rule, racking up extra charges. Counting time in jail since November 2023, Doyle’s future is behind bars.

Prosecutors gave a big thank-you to the jurors for showing up and were glad the plea meant they didn’t have to see the sickening evidence. This case proves Oklahoma means business when it comes to keeping kids safe from predators like Doyle.
