PEORIA, Illinois — Peoria Police arrested 26-year-old Andrew L. Webster on March 29, 2025, following a shooting in the 3400 block of W. Fallen Oak Lane. Officers responded to a report of a person shot at 12:25 a.m., finding a 26-year-old man with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
The Peoria Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division, Crime Scene Unit, and Patrol Unit launched an investigation, locating a vehicle linked to the shooting in the 100 block of E. Hines Place. Three occupants exited the vehicle and fled on foot when officers approached. Police apprehended Webster after a brief chase, but the other two suspects remain at large. A search of the vehicle uncovered a handgun.
Webster faces charges of aggravated discharge of a firearm, aggravated possession of a weapon, possession of a firearm without a valid FOID card, obstructing an officer, and resisting police. He was booked into the Peoria County Jail, and the incident, case number 25-5566, remains under investigation.
