LAKE CITY, South Carolina — Florence County Sheriff’s Office seeks a suspect in a murder investigation after a shooting on March 30, 2025, at 320 Rae St. in Lake City. Deputies responded to a call about a deceased person early Sunday morning, and investigators have since charged Maleek Symore Fulton, 28, of 600 McGregor Circle in Lake City, in connection with the incident.
Fulton, who remains at large, is described as standing 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighing approximately 195 pounds. Authorities warn that he should be considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached. The victim’s identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin. The Florence County Sheriff’s Office seeks public assistance to locate Fulton, urging anyone with information to come forward.
