Archdale Police search for missing teen Brooklynn Dawn Nance

ARCHDALE, North Carolina — Archdale Police search for 17-year-old Brooklynn Dawn Nance, who went missing from her residence in the Westbrook Ct. area of Archdale between 3:25 p.m. on March 22, 2025, and 11:49 a.m. on March 23, 2025. Authorities believe she may have fled to Henry County, Virginia, though her current location remains unconfirmed.

Brooklynn’s clothing at the time of her disappearance is unknown, but she is likely wearing white and red tennis shoes and blue glasses. The circumstances surrounding her departure are unclear, raising concerns for her safety given her age and the time elapsed since she was last seen. Archdale, a small city in Randolph County with a population of about 11,000, is near the Virginia border, which may complicate search efforts if she has indeed crossed state lines.

The Archdale Police Department is urging anyone with information on Brooklynn’s whereabouts to contact them at 336-434-3134, their local law enforcement agency, or 911 immediately. This case adds to a troubling pattern of missing persons in North Carolina—recent data from the North Carolina Center for Missing Persons indicates over 1,200 active missing persons cases in the state as of early 2025.
