Gilbert Police seek help in commercial burglary case

GILBERT, Arizona — Gilbert Police seek help in a commercial burglary investigation after two suspects broke into Stacking Weights Precious Metals near Lindsay and Williams Field Roads on Nov. 30, 2024. The incident occurred around 9:18 p.m. when the two men arrived in a white Maserati SUV, possibly a 2024 Grecale model, and allegedly forced entry into the business, stealing multiple items.

The first suspect is a Black male wearing a black beanie, black face mask, yellow jacket with a green stripe across the chest, arms, and back, purple pants, and black high-top Converse shoes. The second suspect is a Black male in a black hat, black jacket, yellow gloves, black pants, and white, black, and red shoes. Police released descriptions of the suspects and their vehicle but have not disclosed the value or nature of the stolen items.

The burglary took place in a busy commercial area of Gilbert, a town of about 290,000 southeast of Phoenix, known for its family-friendly vibe and growing business districts. Gilbert Police have exhausted all leads and are now turning to the public for assistance, noting that commercial burglaries in the area spiked 12% in 2024, according to Arizona Department of Public Safety data. Tips can be crucial in cases like this—last year, a similar burglary near Cooper and Ray Roads was solved thanks to a citizen’s tip about a suspect vehicle.
