FLORENCE, South Carolina — A motor vehicle theft went down on March 23, 2025, in the 100 block of S. Irby St., and the City of Florence Police Department needs help figuring out who did it. They’ve got photos of two guys they think were involved, caught on camera near the scene, and they’re asking folks to take a look and see if anyone knows them.
It happened sometime that day—police aren’t saying exactly when yet—but a car got swiped from that downtown stretch. The 100 block’s right in the mix of things, near shops and offices, so there’s a chance someone saw something. Cpl. Leggett’s leading the case and wants anyone with info to hit him up at dleggett@cityofflorence.com or call 843-665-3191. No lead’s too small, they say.
