Gila River Police Search for Missing Teen Abrianna Madrid

LAVEEN, Arizona — The Gila River Police Department is urgently asking for the public’s help to locate 14-year-old Abrianna Madrid, a member of the Gila River Indian Community, who went missing from her home in Laveen on April 17, 2025. Abrianna was last seen at her residence, wearing a black and white V-neck shirt and denim jeans, and is believed to be with her boyfriend, Joey Gutierrez, a non-tribal member of the Gila River Indian Community. With six days having passed since her disappearance, authorities and her family are growing increasingly worried for her safety.

Abrianna is described as 5 feet tall, approximately 100 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. The Gila River Police Department noted that no photo was submitted at the time of the report, making the community’s role in recognizing her by description even more critical. As a young teen, Abrianna may be vulnerable, especially if she’s traveling with Gutierrez, whose intentions or influence are unclear. The police are working diligently to bring her home, focusing their search in Laveen and surrounding areas within the Gila River Indian Community.

If you have any information about Abrianna Madrid’s whereabouts, please contact the Gila River Police Department at 520-562-4511 or their Anonymous Tip Line at 520-562-7144. You can also reach out to the Chandler Police Department at 480-782-4130. Every detail counts—whether you’ve seen a girl matching Abrianna’s description or have information about Joey Gutierrez’s location. The police urge the public to act quickly to help ensure her safe return.

The Gila River Indian Community is coming together to find one of their own. Let’s support the search for Abrianna Madrid and help bring her back to her family.
