Bullhead City Shooting Leaves Two Injured, Suspect Arrested

BULLHEAD CITY, Arizona — A shooting in Bullhead City early on April 22, 2025, left two people seriously injured and led to the arrest of 32-year-old Andrew Allen Adams on charges of attempted second-degree murder. Bullhead City Police responded to a report of gunfire at 12:15 a.m. in the 1900 block of Orca Lane, where they found Adams after a dispute over a cat turned violent. Both victims, a 27-year-old woman and a 33-year-old man, were shot and transported to a Las Vegas hospital for treatment.

The investigation revealed that the victims had driven to Adams’ residence so the female victim could retrieve her cat, which she said Adams had invited her to do. When the woman exited the vehicle and approached the house, Adams allegedly fired a weapon in their direction. The male victim then grabbed a rifle, leading to a verbal dispute with Adams, who reportedly fired more shots. The man suffered a gunshot wound to the head, while the woman was shot in the chest and fled to Tanglewood Lane, where police later found her. Adams was arrested without incident and booked into the Mohave County Jail in Kingman, facing additional charges of aggravated assault and misconduct involving weapons as a prohibited possessor.
