SALINA, Kansas — It’s been nearly nine months since 19-year-old Haley Davis, a young mother from Salina, vanished without a trace, leaving her family in a nightmare they can’t wake up from. Haley was last seen on the morning of July 21, 2023, and the Salina Police Department is once again pleading for the public’s help to bring her home. As of April 19, 2025, her loved ones are still searching for answers, desperate to reunite Haley with her baby boy who’s growing up without his mom.
Haley stands 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighs around 200 pounds, and has blonde hair and blue eyes that her family hopes someone might recognize. She left a home in Salina that July morning, reportedly heading to Wichita, but she never made it there. Her social media, where she was usually active, went silent that same day, which her family says isn’t like her at all. “She loved her son, loves him,” her brother Travis shared with KAKE News, his voice heavy with worry. “It just sucks knowing that he may not grow up without a mom.” Travis has been haunted by their last talk, where he tried to give her tough love, now wishing he could take those words back.
The Salina Police Department first sounded the alarm on August 10, 2023, after Haley was reported missing, and the case remains open with no solid leads. Travis and their family, mostly based in Salina, have felt the weight of her absence through holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas, putting up decorations with a heavy heart, hoping for the best gift of all—Haley’s safe return. “I feel she’s out there somewhere, and somebody knows something,” Travis said, urging anyone with information to come forward, even if they’re scared. “Please, I can’t stress it enough. I really, really would love to have her home.”
