Haysville Police search for missing teen Karen Teeter

HAYSVILLE, Kansas — Haysville Police search for 16-year-old Karen Teeter, also known as “Rose,” who was last seen on March 31, 2025, at 9:40 a.m. in Haysville. Karen was leaving a home near Meridian and Grand and has not returned, prompting her family to file a police report out of deep concern for her safety.

Karen is described as 5 feet 1 inch tall, weighing 100 pounds, with blonde or strawberry blonde hair, blue eyes, and a pierced nose. Her clothing at the time of her disappearance is unknown, and the circumstances surrounding her absence remain unclear, heightening worries given her age and the time elapsed. Haysville, a small city south of Wichita with a population of about 11,000, has seen similar cases in the past—local news reported a 15-year-old went missing in 2022 but was later found safe in Wichita.

The Haysville Police Department urges anyone with information on Karen’s whereabouts to contact them at 316-529-5912 or the Kansas Bureau of Investigation at 785-296-4017. Tips can also be submitted anonymously online to the KBI, as authorities work to bring Karen home safely.
