CAMP VERDE, Arizona — Camp Verde Marshal’s Office hunts for Carlos Alberto Guzman, a 40-year-old fugitive wanted for parole violations, who fled from officers on March 30, 2025. Guzman escaped on foot after authorities attempted to take him into custody following the discovery of a valid warrant from the Department of Corrections.
Guzman is described as 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing 200 pounds, with multiple tattoos, including the words “Evil Eyes” on his forehead. His last known address is in the 900 block of Smiley Ave. in Camp Verde, and he is known to frequent the Yavapai Apache Reservation. Authorities warn that Guzman is considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached. Yavapai Silent Witness is offering a cash reward for information leading to his arrest.
Camp Verde, a small town in Yavapai County with a population of about 12,000, often sees transient activity due to its proximity to the Verde Valley and reservation lands.
