SHIPROCK, New Mexico — The Navajo Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating Terrill Marshall, a 48-year-old Shiprock man who was last seen on March 15, 2025, near Mitten Rock, approximately 1.5 miles south of milepost 9.5 on Navajo Route 13.
Marshall was last seen tending to his livestock at around 9 p.m. He is described as 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing approximately 200 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. He has a distinctive scar on his forearms shaped like a smiley face. Authorities have not confirmed what clothing he was wearing at the time of his disappearance.
The missing Shiprock man was driving a gray Dodge Dakota extended cab with New Mexico license plate AWRR32. The Navajo Police Department has released a photo of the vehicle and is urging anyone who may have seen it or Marshall to come forward.
“We are deeply concerned for Terrill’s safety and well-being,” said a spokesperson for the Navajo Police Department. “We are asking anyone with information, no matter how small, to contact us immediately.”
Marshall’s disappearance has raised concerns among family members and community members, as it is unusual for him to be out of contact for an extended period. Authorities have not ruled out any possibilities, including the chance that the missing Shiprock man may have experienced a medical emergency or vehicle breakdown.
The Navajo Police Department is conducting a search of the area where Marshall was last seen and is coordinating with local agencies to expand the effort. However, as of now, there have been no confirmed sightings of Marshall or his vehicle.
“We are asking everyone in the area to keep an eye out for Terrill or his truck,” the spokesperson added. “Your help could make all the difference in bringing him home safely.”
Anyone with information about the missing Shiprock man’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Navajo Police Department Shiprock District at (505) 368-1350 or (505) 368-1351.
